Redeemer’s
traditional service of Holy Communion use
liturgy and hymns from Evangelical
Lutheran Worshipfollowing the Lutheran order
of service. The congregation is led in
music by various choirs, instrumentalists, and our Interim Director
of Music on the organ.
Our
contemporary
worship serviceof Holy Communion provides an informal atmosphere
for proclaiming the Gospel. Pastor Dennis leads the congregation in contemporary Christian music and
worship on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Service in Worship
Altar Guild - Redeemer's Altar Guild is responsible for
preparing the altar and chancel for worship services.
Their most visible tasks are preparing for Holy Communion
and changing the paraments for each season.
Ushers
These ministers of hospitality draw worshipers into the
presence of God, welcome and care for visitors, and make all
feel comfortable at worship.
Worship Assistants, Readers, Acolytes
Candles are lit, Scripture is
proclaimed, and communion is served by these faithful volunteers.
Music Music is a core element to our worship of God.
We have many opportunities
to explore at Redeemer.
